FIELD: building materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plasterboard sheets and methods for their production. A plasterboard sheet contains a core of hardened gypsum material extending from the first to the second surface of the plasterboard sheet, and one or several continuous layers of material located inside the core and extending along the first axis essentially to two opposite edges of the plasterboard sheet. The first and second sides of each continuous layer of material are essentially covered with hardened gypsum material. Each continuous layer is a damping sheet having a damping loss coefficient greater than a damping loss coefficient of hardened gypsum material, wherein the damping sheet contains viscoelastic polymer. The method for the production of the plasterboard sheet involves drying the wet core of gypsum material, while inside it, there is the continuous layer of material or its workpieces.
EFFECT: quality of sound-proofing plasterboard sheets is improved.
