FIELD: slurry hydroconversion.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a process for slurry hydroconversion of a heavy hydrocarbon feedstock in the presence of hydrogen and at least one dispersed solid catalyst obtained from at least one salt of a heteropolyanion combining molybdenum and at least one metal selected from cobalt and nickel in a structure of the type Strandberg, Keggin, lacunar Keggin or substituted lacunar Keggin. The method includes at least one of the following steps: a) preparing an aqueous solution containing at least one heteropolyanion salt, b) premixing the aqueous solution with a hydrocarbon oil to form a dilute precursor mixture, c) mixing the aqueous solution obtained in step a) or the dilute precursor mixture obtained in step b) with a heavy hydrocarbon feed to form an active mixture, and d) carrying out the hydroconversion step of the heavy hydrocarbon feedstock by introducing said aqueous solution obtained in step a), or said dilute mixture of the precursor obtained in step b), or said active mixture obtained in step c), directly into or above the slurry hydroconversion reactor along the stream.
EFFECT: improving efficiency in hydrodemetallization and hydrodeasphalting.
