FIELD: 3D printing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a device for finishing surface of parts obtained using 3D printing. According to the method, a processed part and a liquid plasticizer used in the process are heated together in a hermetically closed processing chamber to a working temperature that is less than a boiling temperature of the plasticizer used in the process. A vapor-air mixture is maintained at constant circulation in the chamber to maintain a uniform temperature and concentration and to provide a contact of the part with the air/vapor mixture to avoid the formation of condensate on the part surface and to allow vapors of the plasticizer used in the process to be absorbed in the part surface without the formation of condensate. The time of vapor impact is fixed depending on the required penetration depth. The device contains a chamber with heating elements, a means for ensuring the circulation of the air/vapor mixture in the chamber to maintain a uniform temperature and concentration in it, and a unit for separating vapors of the plasticizer used in the process from the air/vapor mixture by condensation.
EFFECT: invention provides for the simplification of a method for finishing parts.
