FIELD: apparatus for generating gases.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in automobiles operating on hydrogen fuel cells. The apparatus for automatic and continuous production of hydrogen includes a loading port 14, a hydrogen production control system 8, a raw material tank 2 for storing a metal hydride, a water tank 4 for storing a liquid reagent, a hydrogen tank 3 for storing hydrogen produced from the reaction of the metal hydride and the liquid reagent, a recycling chamber 5 for recycling and buffering the by-product produced from the reaction of the metal hydride and the liquid reagent, and a hydrogen production chamber 1. Chamber 1 comprises a transition chamber 1a for buffering the metal hydride from the raw material tank 2 and a reaction chamber 1b connected with the transition chamber 1a and used to ensure contact and the subsequent reaction of the metal hydride with the liquid reagent. The raw material tank 2 is connected with the transition chamber 1a. The water tank 4 and the recycling chamber 5 are connected with the reaction chamber 1b. The raw material tank 2, the water tank 4, and the recycling chamber 5 are connected with the loading port 14.
EFFECT: invention provides a possibility of ensuring controllability and continuity of the reaction of hydrogen production in combination with high safety of the process.
