FIELD: communication technologies.
SUBSTANCE: method for controlling a wireless connection relates to a base network system including a centralized block and a distributed block that communicate with each other and communicate with a terminal via a radio interface. The method includes: reception by the distributed block of a request for radio resource control (hereinafter – RRC) connection sent by the terminal; sending by the distributed block of a control plane message containing a request for RRC connection to the centralized block via a control plane connection; reception by the distributed unit via the control plane connection of a control plane message that is sent by the centralized block and contains a message about establishing RRC connection; sending by the distributed block of a message about establishing RRC connection to the terminal; reception by the distributed block of a message about completion of establishing RRC connection, sent by the terminal; sending by the distributed unit of a message about completion of establishing RRC connection, sent to the centralized block.
EFFECT: providing the control of a wireless connection in 5G system in cases, when base station functions are divided.
