FIELD: ice spread prevention.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for preventing the spread of ice in places where it is formed, and for removing it at the place of its accumulation. To protect the guy cable from icing, stages are used at which air is pumped out by means of a vacuum pump and a pneumatic line at the edges of the guy cable at the points of contact between the surface of the shell and the surface of the guy cable. Then compressed air is injected into the interior of the elastic channels-air ducts of the shell and the pressure is released by turning on the shut-off valve of the pneumatic line leading to the channels-air ducts.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of breaking off ice from the guy cables.
