SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of trade and service industry and can be implemented in cash register equipment. Proposed is a load switching apparatus for a checkout counter, consisting of a main unit, a control panel unit, and an information cable, wherein the main unit constitutes a body containing fastening elements, holes for leading the connected cables outward, and ventilation holes, a printed circuit board is located inside the body, wherein signals from the control panel and elements of the checkout counter are received, processed, the algorithm of action is selected, and the control panel and checkout counter elements connected thereto are controlled; the control panel unit constitutes a body with fastening holes, installed whereon are the control panel made in the form of a film panel equipped with indicators, and an emergency stop button, wherein the main unit and the panel unit are interconnected and connected with the elements of the checkout counter via an information cable, and the checkout counter comprises 1 to 3 conveyors, wherein the main unit and the control panel unit are placed directly under one of said conveyors.
EFFECT: apparatus ensures effective control over the purchase and sale of products with a simultaneous reduction in the time spent by the customer to make a purchase.
