FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of military equipment and concerns a remote machine gun unit, aggregated with a panoramic sight and a fire control system of a combat vehicle. The machine gun unit is a turret with a remote machine gun mount equipped with guidance drives in the horizontal and vertical planes, with its own control system electrically connected to the fire control system computer unit (FCS). The FCS computer unit is electrically connected to the guidance console, the weapon stabilizer and the panoramic sight, which is multi-channel and electrically connected to the video viewing device. The axis of rotation of the turret coincides with the axis of rotation of the panoramic sight. The distance from the axis of the bore of the remote machine gun unit to the axis of rotation of the panoramic sight is fixed. The guidance drives of the remote machine gun unit in the horizontal and vertical planes are independent of the panoramic sight.
EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of operating from the spot and on the move, day and night, in any weather with aiming through a multi-channel panoramic sight.
