FIELD: machines technical diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in testing and technical diagnostics of machines, in particular internal combustion engines. The method for assessing the uneven operation of an internal combustion engine consists in preparing the engine for testing. Force transducers (1) are installed in the engine mounts. A measuring device (4) is connected to the force transducers (1), the standard sensor (2) of the crankshaft speed and the standard sensor (3) of the camshaft position. The engine is started and warmed up, then tests are carried out in which the controlled parameters are recorded. When testing, the engine is loaded to maximum power, after which, with a period of 2 degrees of rotation of the crankshaft, the forces arising on the engine mounts are recorded. The measured force values are compared with the position of the piston of the corresponding cylinder at the top dead center of the beginning of the combustion and expansion stroke. An approximating dependence of the change in forces on the engine mounts on the angle of rotation of the crankshaft is established, and the impulse of forces per cycle of combustion and expansion is calculated for each cylinder separately for each mount. According to the obtained values, the impulse of forces averaged over the supports is determined for each cylinder for one engine operating cycle. Then the total impulse of forces for each cylinder is calculated for at least five engine cycles. The maximum and minimum values of the total force impulses are set. The non-uniformity coefficient is calculated, the obtained value of the coefficient is compared with the nominal value and a conclusion is made about the uneven operation of the internal combustion engine cylinders.
EFFECT: reducing the complexity of diagnosis.
