FIELD: waste management.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of waste management and can be used in industry, public utilities in the processing of waste of various composition and state of aggregation. The installation for plasma-thermal processing of waste contains a furnace unit, an afterburner, a smoke exhauster and an exhaust pipe connected in series with nozzles. The furnace unit is made in the form of a cylinder vertically located inside the lined body, equipped with a lid and a door block with a technological hole for air inflow, and is divided into the upper and lower working chambers by a stand. A grate in the form of a truncated cone is rigidly fixed on the stand, consisting of at least 12 blades with a vertical angle of inclination of 8-24 degrees, fixed at the top on a round plate covering the truncated part of the grate, and at the bottom connected by a metal ring. Wherein the upper working chamber is connected to the lower working chamber by at least four nozzles, and the lower working chamber is equipped with an opening for ash removal. The inlet of the branch pipe connecting the afterburner chamber and the smoke exhauster is located in the lower quarter of the afterburner chamber.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of waste processing, simplifying the design of the installation, simplifying its maintenance, reducing energy costs for the waste processing process.
