SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pharmaceutical industry, namely to a method for producing a dry plant extract with antiviral activity against influenza A(H1N1) virus and antioxidant activity. A method for obtaining a dry plant extract with antiviral activity against the influenza A(H1N1) virus and antioxidant activity, including grinding the inflorescences of Sorbaria sorbifolia to a particle size of 20-30 mm, followed by extraction with 70% ethanol three times at a temperature of 60°C, in the ratio of raw materials:solvent 1:20 for the first extraction for 4 hours, 1:15 for the second extraction for 2 hours, 1:15 for the third extraction for 2 hours, pooling, cooling the combined obtained filtrates to room temperature, concentrating in household dehydrator and drying to a residual moisture content of 5%, followed by storage in the dark at room temperature and air humidity of 30-60%.

EFFECT: above method allows you to save the composition and amount of extractable substances and obtain an extract with a pronounced antiviral activity against the influenza A(H1N1) virus and antioxidant activity.
