FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for preparing an agent based on extracts of basidiomycetes, having antiviral action, involving grinding of biomass of basidiomycete fungus selected from a group of: biomass of natural fungus Inonotus obliquus, biomass of submerged culture of oyster mushroom Pleurotus ostreatus, biomass of dry fruiting bodies of oyster mushroom Pleurotus ostreatus, biomass of culture of lung oyster Pleurotus pulmonarius, biomass of culture of blushing bracket Daedaleopsis confragosa; then biomass of each fungus is mixed with water heated to 90-100 °C at ratio of 1:5 to 1:20, extracted for 0.5-3.0 h, liquid extracts are separated from the sediment by filtration or centrifugation and an antiviral agent is prepared with the specified content of basidiomycetes extract, ethyl alcohol solution and/or water.

EFFECT: invention widens the range of agents having inhibitory action on human and animal pathogenic viruses.
