FIELD: artificial satellites systems maintenance.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to the maintenance of systems of artificial satellites (AS) for various purposes, located in orbits that can be grouped according to the proximity of their inclinations (i). The method for servicing a system of satellites in near-circular orbits is that AEs with the same inclination are distributed along the longitude of the ascending node (ANL) Ω so that the difference δΩ(t) between the ANL of any OS orbit and the closest to it in the ANL AE at any time (t) satisfied the condition: and the inclination (t) of the AE is chosen to be different from the inclinations of the OS orbits by the value Δi<Δi*, where Δi* is the change in the AE inclination when the ANL of this orbit is corrected by the value ΔΩ*. Wherein, this correction includes the transfer of CO from AE in its plane to an elongated elliptical intermediate orbit (EIO) with a perigee argument.
EFFECT: fairly accurate coincidence of the missile defense plane with the OS orbital plane, after which the approach maneuvers and encounters of the SO with one or more OS are carried out, and upon completion of the maintenance of the OS, the SO is returned to the AE; efficiency of servicing the system of artificial satellites is ensured.
