SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the food industry, in particular to the clipper used in the sausage-like product production. Disclosed is clipper (1) and method for production of products (S) in form of sausage, for example sausage sticks, containing fluid filler in tubular packing shell (M) or packing shell (M) in form of packet in clipper (1), and guide device (100) for use in clipper (1). Clipping device (1) comprises filling tube (10) for feeding the filler into a tubular packaging shell (M) or a wrapping (M) in the form of a pack, located on stuffing tube (10) and closing on the front end with a closing device (C), for example by closing clip, braking mechanism (16), collecting means (30) for forming fold-like portion (P), device (20) for installation of clips on fold-like section (P) and guide device (100) for guiding of closing means (C) in device (20) for installation of clips. Guiding device (100) comprises at least one sensing device (SD) comprising first sensitive element (130) determining presence or absence of closing means (C) in guide device (100).

EFFECT: use of group of inventions improves quality of ready product.
