FIELD: telecommunications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of telecommunications and constitutes an apparatus for monitoring the switching panels of structured cabling systems. The technical result is achieved by the switching panel based on 10-contact modular sockets being supplemented with a resistor connecting the output of the second digital port of the group of input and output ports of the controller and the zero contact of the 10-contact socket matched therewith, as well as a capacitor connected to the ninth contact of the 10-contact socket by the first terminal, and grounded by the second terminal, wherein the point of connection of the resistor and the zero contact of the 10-contact socket is connected with the input digital port of the controller, and the zero and ninth contacts of both modular plugs of the switching cord are closed by means of an isolated jumper.
EFFECT: expanded scope of operating capabilities of the monitoring apparatus, allowing, along with connecting and disconnecting the entire cord, for detection of a one-way connection of a modular plug of the switching cord to a 10-contact modular socket or disconnection thereof from said modular socket.
