SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of telecommunications and can be used in the construction of the physical layer of IP information systems with a centralized structure, in particular IP video surveillance systems. The expected result is provided by the fact that in the switching field of the physical layer of information IP systems with a centralized structure containing switching panels, LAN switches, organizers, pairs of switching panels and LAN switches separated by horizontal organizers, represent an independent functional unit, the totality of which forms a switching field. Pairs of switching panels and LAN switches alternate with the separation of each pair of these devices by horizontal organizers, while horizontal organizers are made with the possibility of placing jumper cables connecting the ports of switching panels and LAN switches directly bordering the same horizontal organizer. Additionally, vertical organizers are installed, made with the possibility of placing cables of switching cords connecting the ports of switching panels and LAN switches in the extreme vertical rows of the switching field.

EFFECT: improving the quality of signal transmission by reducing the total length of the switching field cords and improving the conditions for the administration of the information system.
