FIELD: telecommunications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to telecommunications and constitutes an apparatus for monitoring the switching panels of structured cabling systems. Switching panel based on 10-contact modular sockets is supplemented with two voltage sources, two Zener diodes, two resistors, an electronic key, and two diodes, and the controller is equipped with a second output digital port, wherein the first source, the second source through the second diode, as well as the series-connected second resistor and the second Zener diode, are connected to the zero contact of the 10-contact modular socket through the electronic key and the first diode, and the series-connected first Zener diode and the first resistor are connected to the ninth contact. The point of connection of the first Zener diode and the resistor is connected with the second input digital port of the controller, and the point of connection of the second Zener diode and the second resistor is connected with the first input digital port of the controller. The zero and ninth contacts of both modular plugs of the switching cord are closed by means of an isolated jumper.
EFFECT: expanded operating capabilities of the monitoring apparatus.
