FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for navigation of mobile objects (MO) and to a multifunctional X-ray navigation system. For navigation of mobile objects, pulse X-ray radiation is generated on board of the MO towards the platform (PL) whereon the radiation is received and processed, an output signal is formed using an X-ray communication channel, received on board of the MO, wherein navigation information on the range and mutual orientation angles of the MO relative to the PL is generated. The system comprises equipment on board of the MO, including a control unit, an X-ray radiation source, detection units, an information processing unit, a navigation information display apparatus, and equipment on the PL, including detection units, an information processing unit, a control unit, an X-ray radiation source, a navigation information display apparatus, a swing apparatus, an information apparatus connected in a certain manner.
EFFECT: increase in the range, reduction in the level of X-ray radiation for protecting the personnel, possibility of information exchange with ensured mutual navigation of the MO and the PL.
