FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used to correct congenital hypoplasia of the distal phalanx of the first finger. At the first stage, atraumatic access to the bone of the distal phalanx and osteotomy of the phalanx are performed. The needles are passed through the distal and proximal fragments of the nail phalanx and the distal part of the proximal phalanx. Next, the installation of a compression-distraction apparatus is performed. Distraction is carried out in increments of 0.5 mm per day. At the second stage, the compression-distraction apparatus is dismantled, the bone defect of the nail phalanx is replaced with an autograft taken from the radius. The graft is placed between fragments of the nail phalanx, fixed crosswise with two wires by passing them antegrade from the side of the base of the nail phalanx.
EFFECT: method provides for increasing the functionality of the first finger, such as improving the opposition and grip strength of the hand, due to the combination of techniques of the claimed invention.
