FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to infectious diseases, and can be used to predict unfavourable clinical outcome in patients with HIV infection above the age of 18 with community-acquired pneumonia of unknown origin. A study of electrolytes, the immunological status, prothrombin ratio, blood glucose, and a microscopic study of sputum are performed, the obtained indicators are assessed, and the onset of fatality is predicted.
EFFECT: possibility of diagnosing and making a personalised prediction of the course and the outcome of HIV infection in patients with bacterial pneumonia by evaluating a complex of the most important indicators.
