FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncohaematology, and can be used for prediction of risk of developing sepsis or pneumonia in patients with acute myeloid leukaemia. By means of automatic haematological and biochemical analysers before undergoing a course of chemotherapy in patients with acute myeloid leukaemia, absolute content of leukocytes, neutrophils and thrombocytes, activity of lactate dehydrogenase and concentration of albumin in peripheral blood are determined. Polymerase chain reaction is used to determine gene polymorphisms TLR3 C1234G, ILlβ T-511C, ILlβ G-1473C, IL2 T-330G, IL10 G-1082A, CD14 C159T. Obtained values are introduced into a gradient boosting model, which forms an individual prognosis of developing sepsis or pneumonia. If the probability is less than 0.5, a low risk of developing sepsis or pneumonia is determined; if the probability is more than 0.5, a high risk of developing sepsis or pneumonia is determined.
EFFECT: method enables predicting the development of severe infectious complications in the patients with acute myeloid leukaemia by multifactorial analysis of single nucleotide polymorphisms of immune response genes, haemogram features and biochemical blood analysis.
