FIELD: additive manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of creating a composite material used in 3D printing by the fused deposition modeling (FDM) method, i.e., creating three-dimensional objects by depositing successive layers of a material, following the contours of a digital model. The purpose of the invention consists in creating a composite material intended for 3D printing by a simplified production process and exhibiting a number of valuable physico-mechanical properties. The composite material used in 3D printing by the fused deposition modeling (FDM) method based on a polymer matrix and carbon fibre, wherein preferably thermoplastic polyamide-6 or polycarbonate is used as a thermoplastic polymer and modified halloysite produces by modifying halloysite with 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate in the amount of 20 wt.% of the weight of halloysite is used as a filler.
EFFECT: development of a composite material intended for use in additive technologies with improved characteristics.
