FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparation of a composite material based on ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene modified with a layered silicate material having improved strength and physico-mechanical characteristics intended as superstructural composite materials for additive 3D technologies. The composite material intended as superstructural polymeric materials includes ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and a purified natural mineral of the Kimpersaisky deposit (Aktobe region, Republic of Kazakhstan) as a halloysite modifier. The result of the invention is achieved by halloysite introduction into the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, previously dissolved in chloroform. Uniform distribution of the modifier particles is ensured by the use of spray drying.
EFFECT: composite material has improved strength and physico-mechanical characteristics.
