FIELD: 3D printing.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing a polyesterimide composite material for producing articles by 3D printing. This method includes the impregnation of carbon fiber roving with electrostatically charged particles of polyesterimide at a pressure of 0.3-1 bar, followed by the formation of a roving tape impregnated with polyesterimide particles by passing through rollers at a temperature of 350-370°C, after which the resulting composite material tape is passed through spinnerets at a temperature of 350-370°C, then granulate and form a filament. A pressure of 0.3-1 bar is created with compressed air. The resulting composite material contains 85-95 wt.% polyesterimide and 5-15 wt.% carbon fiber.
EFFECT: development of a method for obtaining a polyesterimide composite material intended for 3D printing with improved strength properties and heat resistance.
