FIELD: lithium hydroxide purification.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for the purification of lithium hydroxide used in the chemical industry. Pulsating countercurrent action column for washing lithium hydroxide, containing a housing with viewing windows installed in it along the entire height, inside the housing there is a peristaltic pump, a fitting, an upper receiving tank for supplying a suspension of lithium hydroxide (LHO), a counter-flow column and a lower receiving tank made with the possibility of unloading the cleaned LHO by opening a ball valve installed at the bottom of the receiving tank, at the same time, the fitting is deepened into the upper receiving tank to prevent agitation of the solution, and a system of flexible hoses for supplying hot water is connected to the counterflow column and interconnected by a rotameter to control the volume of the supplied liquid, and the upper receiving tank is connected to the outlet channel of the washing product obtained in as a result of the countercurrent movement of hot water and LHO suspension.

EFFECT: simplification of the lithium hydroxide washing process while maintaining the cleaning efficiency.
