SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the clothing industry, namely the production of clothing from linen fabrics. The method for making clothes from linen fabrics includes cutting out the details of the product and sewing the semi-finished product by harvesting individual components of the product, finishing the semi-finished product by treating it in a washing machine with a solution of an anti-creasing composition. This is followed by drying the semi-finished product at a temperature of 80-100°C, ironing, assembly of knots and heat treatment with steaming at a temperature of 140-160°C for 2-4 minutes. At the same time, the anti-crease composition contains cellulase in an amount that provides the level of endoglucanase activity in a solution of 40–100 units/ml, a complexing agent in an amount of 1.5–2 g/l, and a buffer mixture to ensure pH 4.5–6.0 with the addition of aqueous polyurethane dispersion in the amount of 0.5-1.5 g/l at a temperature of 25-55°C for 40-120 minutes.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve the elastic properties of flax fiber, to reduce the accumulation of irreversible deformation under cyclic loads, to increase the resistance to repeated non-oriented crushing, to reduce the loss of mechanical strength, to increase the range of reduction in the stiffness index of fabrics to ensure high-quality fit and forms of stability of the product, to expand the model range of manufactured clothing.
