FIELD: thermal power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermal power engineering and can be used to convert thermal energy into electrical energy. The thermoelectric generator contains a prefabricated housing, consisting of a top cover and a bottom, which are made with horizontal oval grooves on the inside, side boards, equipped with round nests on the inside, located opposite each oval groove, flanged end caps. The cover and bottom are made of dielectric material with high thermal conductivity. The side boards are made of dielectric material with low thermal conductivity. Inside the case, rods made of wire segments of metals M1 and M2, soldered or welded together along their entire length, are inserted horizontally through oval grooves parallel to its ends into the upper and lower sockets through oval grooves. In the gaps between the rods and the surface of the oval grooves, a number of wire segments are passed, made of flexible metal with high electrical conductivity, which are pressed to the rods by the surfaces of the trays of the oval grooves of the cover and bottom, respectively, forming a separate vertically located thermionic transducer connected to the previous and subsequent thermionic transducers throughout housing, forming a thermoelectric section. The initial and last sections of the wire segments of the thermoelectric section are connected to pole collectors, the ends of which are brought out through the ends of the side board and connected to the converter and the battery.
EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified manufacturing.
