FIELD: heat power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to heat engineering and can be used for transformation of thermal energy into electrical energy in the absence of power supply sources. Result is achieved by a flat thermoelectric generator comprising a prefabricated housing consisting of an upper cover and a bottom, side boards, flanged end covers, at that, the upper cover and the bottom are made of a dielectric material with high thermal conductivity, the side boards are made of a dielectric material with low thermal conductivity, upper cover is equipped on opposite ends with pole collectors, in cavity of housing parallel to its bottom there is a row of thermal emission converters connected at ends with pole collectors, wherein each thermal emission converter consists of upper and lower horizontal pairs of sections of foil strips of different metals M1 and M2, tightly pressed to each other and interconnected by contact strips made of metal with high electrical conductivity, forming a separate, horizontally located, thermionic converter, similarly connected to the previous and next thermionic converters in the whole housing, forming a horizontal thermoelectric section, in which close contact of foil strips of metals M1 and M2 and contact strips of thermal emission converters is carried out by compression of upper cover and bottom, as well as by pressing end flanged covers to them.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of flat thermoelectric generator.
