FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermal energy conversion into electric energy. Summary: thermoelectric generator comprises housing perforated from sides and cover made of dielectric material with high heat conductivity, ribbed above and below by ribs making slots on housing and cover inner sides. In the housing cavity there are thermoelectric elements, which are paired wire sections made of different metals M1 and M2, isolated from each other along the length with a thin layer of dielectric material, flattened and soldered at ends to each other, forming rows arranged so that upper and lower junctions of several parallel rows of each thermoelectric element are connected to each other in parallel sectional collectors, which are two plates made of metal with high electrical conductivity. Between collectors junctions of thermionic elements are clamped forming thermoelectric sections. Right and left extreme sectional collectors of each thermoelectric section are connected through jumpers to single-pole collectors of electric charges, which are connected to electric accumulator. Sectional headers are located in slots of parallel ribs parallel to their side surface, tightly pressing them. Middle parts of wire segments are located in cavity of housing.
EFFECT: technical result is increase of thermoelectric generator efficiency.
