SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of organic chemistry, namely, a heterocyclic compound of the Formulas Ia and Ib, where A is an alkyl consisting of at least 4 carbon atoms in length, selected from butyl, pentyl, hexyl, heptyl, octyl, nonyl and decyl; B is an alkoxy 1-4 carbon atom in length; each of D, E, and G is independently selected from hydrogen, an alkoxy 1-4 carbon atom in length, and an alkyl selected from butyl, pentyl, hexyl, heptyl, octyl, nonyl, and decyl, provided that (i) no more than one of D, E, and G is the specified alkyl, (ii) no more than two of D, E, and G are the specified alkoxy, and (iii) if two of D, E, and G are the specified alkoxy, then none of D, E, and G is the specified alkyl; and each of R1-R5 is hydrogen. The invention also relates to the use of a compound of Formulas Ia and Ib.

EFFECT: new quinoline-2 derivatives have been obtained that are useful for treatment of a condition that can be treated by modulating the biological activity of chemokine, including for treatment of malignant tumors and inflammatory diseases.
