FIELD: pumping equipment.
SUBSTANCE: multi-section electric pump unit is used for pumping chemically active and fire-explosive liquids in the oil refining and gas industry. A multi-section electric pump unit contains at least two electric pump sections (2, 3) interconnected, each of which includes a suction housing (14), a middle housing (17), a discharge housing (18), and a magnetic coupling connecting the drive shaft of the electric motor (9) with the working shaft (10), and is equipped with two three-way valves: an upper three-way valve (21) and a lower three-way valve (22) connected by a pipeline (23), while the upper three-way valve (21) is mounted on the discharge housing (18), and the lower three-way valve (22) is mounted on the suction housing (14). Each section is equipped with a cage (24), and in the cage, parallel to the vertical axis of each electric pump section, through holes (25) and a curved L-shaped hole (26) are made along the circumference.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of operation due to additional separate regulation of the parameters of the pumping sections and high-quality cooling of the coupling, provided clogged central holes in the shafts of sections.
