FIELD: radio physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio physics, namely to diffraction quasi-optics. A zone plate with subwavelength focusing consists of coaxial alternating zones made of a dielectric with a refractive index N, with a phase correction sample selected from a series where M is an even integer, and a focal length of no more than the wavelength of the radiation used, with a phase profile of the zone plate made on a larger base of a truncated cone, with the height of the cone equal to the focal length of the zone plate, and tapering towards the focus of the zone plate. The zone plate additionally contains a metal micro-sized sphere located at the top of its cone.

EFFECT: increase in the resolution of the zone plate, providing subwavelength focusing of the radiation of the zone plate.
