FIELD: valve engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is a valve for use in petroleum and gas production or similar variants of application. The valve includes a plug or other flow barrier located in the cavity of the hollow body of the valve, a seat with a generally "L-shaped" configuration, containing three surfaces located in the course of the flow, and a seat sleeve. Said seat sleeve and the seat are located so that the first radial surface of the seat sleeve does not come in direct contact with the seat, wherein a chamber is formed between the third radial surface of the seat and the first radial surface of the seat sleeve.
EFFECT: invention provides a possibility of improving the sealing in the valve in high-pressure media and increasing the reliability of the valve in cyclic use.
