SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices and methods of technical problems overcoming in piston compressors drive valves, used in oil and gas industry. Valve assembly comprises actuator 510, shaft 520, flange 550 and thrust bushing 560. Actuator 510 is made with possibility to generate movement. Shaft 520 is made with possibility to transmit rotary motion, caused by said movement, and passing inside piston compressor housing 540. Flange 550 is located near place, where shaft 520 passes inside compressor housing 540. Thrust bushing 560 is located between flange 550 and compressor housing 540. Rotary motion actuates valve closing element 530 inside compressor housing 540.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce force required to actuate valves in piston compressors.
