FIELD: thermal power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermal power engineering, in particular to the assessment of the residual life of the setting (lining) of steel ladles. The claimed solution makes it possible to obtain data on the residual life of the setting of steel ladles based on a comprehensive assessment of their operating conditions, which makes it possible to take into account the main values that determine the service life of the facing of the steel ladle. The value of the residual resource of settings of steel ladles is determined by a formula that includes a general correction factor of operating conditions:

where nk is the number of melts; δi is the thickness of the facing at the beginning of the i-th cycle, mm; δcr is the minimum permissible (critical) thickness of the facing, mm; υ is the average rate of decrease in the thickness of the facing of the high-temperature unit, mm/melt; ΚΣ is the overall correction factor of the operating conditions, is in the expression: where K1 is a correction factor to account for the temperature stresses arising in the lining during heating and cooling; K2 is a correction factor to account for the acidity (basicity) of the slag; K3 is a correction factor to account for the heating temperature of the facing; K4 is a correction factor to account for the melt temperature; K5 is a correction factor to account for the density of refractories.

EFFECT: increase in the information content of the data obtained by obtaining data on the residual life of settings of steel ladles in the process of operation based on an expanded and comprehensive assessment of their operating conditions.
