FIELD: fiber production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a tube holder, which supports a coil of flexible fiber wound up on an outer surface of the tube. The tube holder contains a case section made with the possibility of supporting the tube on it, so that an inner surface of the tube rests on an upper surface of the case section, and an end protective device detachably attached to a distal end of the case section by means of a quickly removable contact attachment part. The end protective device is made with the possibility of detachable attachment to the case section, at the same time being at a distance from the tube, so that the tube does not prevent the connection of the end protective device to the case section.
EFFECT: invention allows for the creation of a tube holder capable of smoothly and evenly dispensing wound fiber from damaged and/or deformed tubes.
