FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and can be used in diagnostics and therapy of pathologies treated by resection with using a stapler. A surgical aid comprises a frame with a proximal end and a distal end, with a handle on a proximal end and with a supporting structure on the distal end. A cartridge comprises a number of surgical staples is attached to the supporting structure. The aid additionally comprises a closing element comprising at least an attached section of the cartridge for moving from the proximal end of the supporting structure to the distal end of the supporting structure, at least a section of the closing element is made of plastic.
EFFECT: provided general stability of the surgical stapling aid, while an integral extrusion design of the supporting structure provides weight reduction, facilitated sterilisation as cobalt emission is effective to penetrate in extruded aluminium, and reduced tissue traumas ensured by a smooth external surface produced by extrusion.
