FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: electric driven mowing device contains a frame having connecting points designed to attach the mowing device to a tool carrier equipped with a power supply unit, several cutting modules and an actuator. Each cutting module is suspended, vertically moving and non-rotating in a guide of the cutting module, installed in the frame. Each cutting module contains a cutting disc and an electric engine powered by the power supply unit. The specified cutting disc is attached to a drive shaft of the engine. The actuator forms a connection between the cutting module and the frame. At the same time, a mower control system is made with the possibility of setting the cutting height of each cutting module in accordance with the ground level near the corresponding cutting module relatively to the frame level by processing information received from devices that determine the ground level or an antenna of a satellite positioning system or a combination thereof.
EFFECT: invention will improve the quality of cutting plants with uneven ground surface.
