FIELD: air cushion vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air cushion vehicles. A hovercraft is proposed, comprising a ship hull, an air cushion, a main engine, aerodynamic wings, which are made folding from a horizontal to a vertical position and vice versa and mounted on the side walls of the ship's hull along its sides, solar panels are mounted on the upper surface of said wings, the main engine, the body of which is made in the form of an impeller, is mounted in the center in the aft part of the ship's hull and is made electric, on the shaft of which a variable-pitch propeller made of composite material is mounted, in the fore and aft parts of the hull there are air intakes connected with the internal volume of the air cushion, inside which fans are mounted forcing air into the said volume, inside the hull there is a battery pack electrically connected to solar panels, main engine and fans, which are separately controlled by the control unit.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of creating a reliable, energy-independent hovercraft with high aerodynamic qualities.
