FIELD: computer technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer technology. A method for protecting subscriber data in case of an unwanted call, that is: intercepting traffic, including call parameters and call streaming data; performing a preliminary analysis of call parameters, the results of which determine the first value of the probability of determining the call as unwanted; if the first probability value exceeds the first threshold value, additional call parameters are determined by analyzing the call streaming data; repeated analysis of the call parameters is performed taking into account additional parameters, the results of which determine the second value of the probability of determining the call undesirable; if the mentioned second probability value exceeds the second threshold value, the call is considered unwanted, in addition, the subscriber is determined who makes the unwanted call and the subscriber whose data is subject to protection in case of an unwanted call; transmitting all the parameters of the call identified as unwanted to at least one of: the application on the device of the protected subscriber, the security agent of at least one of the mentioned data operator, the security agent on the server of the communication provider.
EFFECT: reducing errors of the first and second kind when identifying unwanted calls.
