FIELD: refining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil refining. A method for processing heavy oil residues is described, including vacuum distillation of fuel oil with the release of straight-run vacuum distillate and tar, and vacuum distillation of fuel oil is carried out with the separation of straight-run vacuum distillate into fractions, one of which boils away within 360-390°С, a fraction of vacuum gas oil, which boils away within 380-540°С, and the fraction of heavy vacuum gas oil, which boils away within 420-594°С, then the vacuum gas oil fraction, which boils away in the range of 380-540°С, is sent to the hydrocracking stage at the hydrocracking unit, and the vacuum gas oil fraction, which boils away in the range of 420-594°С, is sent to the catalytic cracking unit, where hydrocarbons are isolated from the products. gas, gasoline and diesel fuel.
EFFECT: optimization of feedstock for hydrocracking processes, increasing the yield of light oil products such as hydrocarbon gas, gasoline and diesel fuel and reducing energy consumption in the vacuum distillate hydrocracking process.
