FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processes of oil refining industry, in particular, to methods of producing diesel fuel. Invention relates to a method of producing diesel fuel, including distillation of oil with extraction of fuel oil and its further vacuum fractionation, extraction of straight-run fractions of heavy and light diesel fuel, hydrotreating straight-run fraction of light diesel fuel and straight-run fraction of heavy diesel fuel at high pressure, mixing the fraction of hydrotreated light diesel fuel and hydrotreated heavy fuel, so that 95% of the volume boils out at no higher than 360 °C, introduction of additives. Vacuum fractionation of fuel oil is carried out with separation of fraction with boiling point 360-390 °C, with introduction of separated fraction into straight-run fraction of heavy diesel fuel before its hydrotreatment, and the catalyst for hydrotreating the heavy diesel fraction further comprises a layer of a catalyst based on nickel and tungsten.

EFFECT: efficient use of vacuum distillate fraction with boiling point of 360-390 °C and increase in output of commercial diesel fuel by 11-23%.
