FIELD: oil refining industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processes of the oil refining industry, in particular to methods for obtaining components for drilling fluids from oil. In a method for producing a component for drilling fluids from oil, including the processes of electric desalination and dewatering of oil, atmospheric distillation of oil, where fuel oil and a fraction of straight-run diesel fuel are removed from the column during fractionation, catalytic hydrotreating of a fraction of straight-run diesel fuel, the direction of the hydrotreated fraction of straight-run diesel fuel to catalytic isodewaxing, before catalytic hydrotreating additionally, fractions of petroleum products are introduced into a straight-run diesel fuel fraction, boiling off in the temperature range of 200-390°C, obtained from fuel oil at advanced oil refining plants, in the amount of 0.1-50.0 wt. % of the total mixture with a fraction of straight-run diesel fuel. Then catalytic hydrotreating and catalytic isodewaxing are carried out, and catalytic isodewaxing is carried out at a pressure of 4.4 MPa and a temperature of 325°C, or at a pressure of 4.1 MPa and a temperature of 360°C, or at a pressure of 4.3 MPa and a temperature of 270°C. The resulting technological product is divided into two streams, one of which, 0.5-99.0 wt. % of the resulting technological product is sent back to catalytic isodewaxing, and the second is used as a component for drilling fluids.

EFFECT: increase in the yield and an improvement in the quality of the final product in the production of a component for drilling fluids.
