FIELD: oil refining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processes of the oil refining industry, in particular to methods for obtaining components for drilling fluids from oil. The method for obtaining a component for drilling fluids from oil includes the processes of electric desalination and dewatering of oil, atmospheric distillation of oil, where fuel oil, light diesel fuel with a boiling point of 160-250°C and heavy diesel fuel with a boiling point of 250-360°C are removed from the column during fractionation. The diesel fuel fraction obtained by mixing these fractions of heavy and light diesel fuel is sent to catalytic hydrotreating, and the hydrotreated diesel fuel fraction is sent to catalytic isodewaxing. Catalytic isodewaxing is carried out at a temperature of 333-360°C and a pressure of 4.1 MPa, or 4.3 MPa, or 4.5 MPa. The resulting technological product is divided into two streams, one of which, 0.5-99.0 wt. % of the resulting technological product is sent back to catalytic isodewaxing, and the second is used as a component for drilling fluids.
EFFECT: increase in the yield of the final product in the production of a component for drilling fluids, improving its quality.
