SUBSTANCE: laryngoscope is proposed, containing a display screen and a camera for transmitting images to the display screen. In this case, the laryngoscope additionally contains a microcontroller made with the possibility of initialization of the display screen and/or camera. Moreover, the microcontroller is configured so that not to process, when used, any data transmitted between the camera and the display screen. In this case, the activation of the display screen includes provision by the microcontroller to the display screen of information relatively to any of or any combination of power control settings for the display screen, a form of an input signal that will be received from the camera, an image data format and a form of an interface between the microcontroller and a display screen component. Alternatively, the activation of the camera includes provision by the microcontroller to the camera of information relatively to any of or any combination of power control settings for the camera, camera lens settings, a form of an output signal that will be provided to the display screen, an image data format and any image processing by the camera, and a type of interface between the microcontroller and the camera.

EFFECT: use of this invention will allow for expansion of the arsenal of technical means.
