SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy; it can be used for remelting an electrode of metal materials, installed above a crucible of a melting plant. The plant contains a directing column, on which an electrode rod trolley stationary connected to an electrode rod is directed with the possibility of axial movement to move the electrode rod relatively to a furnace boiler, and on which a boiler trolley connected or connectable to the furnace boiler is directed with the possibility of axial movement to move the furnace boiler. At the first end, the directing column is movably connected to a rotary column, so that the directing column can be inclined relatively to the rotary column and rotated together with the rotary column around the axis of rotation of the rotary column. The directing column contains in the area of the first end scales that are placed on the rotary column.

EFFECT: invention allows for the creation of a plant with scales for remelting an electrode, as well as centering electrode in a crucible.
