FIELD: fire-fighting.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of safety of premises and engineering systems of residential buildings and individual residential houses, as well as to power conservation and quality of consumed electricity. Method for early and reliable detection of fire hazards (OFP) with suppression of fire and electrical damage (PEV) in residential premises, using an aspiration system of an electric meter detector (ESI), installed in the chamber whereof are heat, smoke and gas (reacting to carbon monoxide) sensors, simultaneously measuring the network voltage and the consumed current in real time, calculating the electricity quality parameters (PCE) used to calculate and visualise separately the consumed electricity with the acceptable and unacceptable quality, the values whereof are multiplied by the corresponding probabilities of fire and summed, determining and visualising the PEV. Additionally installed in the chamber of the aspiration system of the ESI is an oxygen sensor, early and reliable detection of OFP occurs on the basis of synchronous change in readings of the sensors and the extrema of the calculated values of derivatives, wherein a reactive power compensation unit is placed in the ESI, connecting, based on the results of calculation of the current power coefficient, the corresponding capacitors, thereby smoothing the voltage and current fluctuations, improving the PCE and compensating for the reactive power generated from household electrical appliances in the protected residential premises, thus suppressing the PEV and preventing the occurrence of electrical fires by disconnecting the power supply in a fire-hazardous electricity consumption mode, as well as in case of a fire caused by other factors. The controller of the electric meter detector PEV suppressor forms data on the consumption of high-quality and low-quality electricity and transmits said data to the electricity provider/management company and to the energy inspection service by means of a GSM radio modem, and if an OFP is detected, triggers an acoustic alarm and transmits an SMS message about a fire to the nearest fire station, to the owner of the residential unit and to the management company.

EFFECT: ensured early and reliable detection of fire hazards.
