FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a quadrature intra-pulse phase modulation method, the feature of which is that the message is not transmitted due to amplitude modulation, and is carried out solely by phase, and at the receiving end of the radio line by the features introduced on the transmitting side of the radio line, consisting in intra-pulse phase-shift keying of quadratures of the carrier wave by mutually orthogonal binary sequences, maximum values of signals and phase difference of quadratures are used to determine specific values of two vertices of the signal constellation from their total number, which determine a specific decision on the received code combination. In this method, relative quadrature phase-shift keying is used to indicate one of two families in a common signal constellation to which the transmitted code combination belongs. On the receiving side of the communication channel, signal quadratures are received individually, phase difference between them is eliminated by means of phase changers and their cross-correlation reception is carried out.
