FIELD: measuring technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring technology and can be used for non-contact measurements of geometric parameters of products in mechanical engineering, geodesy and construction. The essence of the proposed method for measuring the geometric parameters of an object is as follows. The product is mounted on a support, in the coordinate system of which the coordinate system of the product and the position of the reference marks are fixed. In this case, the length of the perpendicular lowered from the center of the theodolite to the frontal plane of the coordinate system of the support is taken as the calculated distance. The horizontal and vertical angles of the directions of the line of sight of the theodolite to the target points on the product are measured. Based on the results of measurements of angles and a certain position of the center of the theodolite in the coordinate system of the support, the coordinates of the target points in the coordinate system of the product are calculated. According to the calculated coordinates of the target points, the geometric parameters of the product are calculated.

EFFECT: expanding the scope of application and increase in the accuracy of measurements.
