SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the construction materials industry, namely to the production of any type of ceramic, silicate building bricks coated with one outer side of the stretcher, in the other case, two sides of the stretcher and header, with plain or colored glass. The method for coating the outside of a building brick with glass is that the pre-prepared glass is melted, then poured into molds, cooled, obtaining a glass lid. The glass lid is put on the side of the brick with cut edges and fixed with a fixing compound.

EFFECT: increase in the durability and frost resistance of building bricks, a reduction in emissions of burnt and unburned toxic gases into the environment, a reduction in the consumption of raw materials from which building bricks are made.
